Our first official location
July 13, 2016 marked a new era for Swahili Village Bar and Grill and the residents in the historic Town of Beltsville. Known for its innovations and being home to one of the largest federal research centers in the world, Beltsville will now claim its place in the history books as host to the finest African restaurant globally with the opening of Swahili Village Bar and Grill’s new location.

Our most commonly requested menu items aren’t a coincidence – Swahili basket, Samaki fillet and the Kuku Choma char grilled chicken. These 3 items are not just made from scratch but made with the best quality halal meats and fresh naturally grown vegetables, locally sourced.
Swahili Basket
Combination of samosa, bhajia and sausage
Samaki Fillet
Deep fried tilapia fillet chunks in a rich coconut curry, or sautéed with onions and cilantro.

Grilled chicken breast marinated & char-grilled.
